I think the word "Tech" in gray is too understated. It provides a nice contrast to the other colors, but it implies to me that "Tech" is dull and gray while "mavens" is vibrant and full of life. I'd like to see both words full of life. One does not contrast the other - if anything they are synergistic and complementary. There ya go ... You asked about color, but you got the commentary too.
